There are so many movie and TV streaming sites out there that it’s hard to know which ones are worth your time and/or money and which ones you should just skip. I know how different one streaming site can be from another. Some are beautiful to look at, easy to use, reliable, stream content in the best quality possible, and have huge libraries full of every title you can think of. On the other hand, others can be full of ads, cluttered, clunky, hard to navigate, unreliable, stream grainy or amateur copies of movies and shows, and could put your internet security at risk. This is why distinguishing the good streaming sites from the bad ones is not a small deal. Before making this choice, you need to think about many different things.
That’s exactly why I’ve spent so much time making streaming sites. You won’t have to guess if a site is worth your time or money. Because I chose the best streaming sites on the internet by hand. Even though my list of reviews only includes sites worth checking out, that doesn’t mean that there aren’t different kinds of sites on my list of the best streaming sites.
Quality will still differ even if you only look at the best sites. There are the best and worst of the best, as well as the best and worst of the best. My reviews have gotten rid of all the sites that aren’t worth mentioning, but you may still find that some of the sites I’ve listed are much better for what you’re looking for in a streaming site.
What Is PrimeWire?
Users can view the newest movies and TV episodes on PrimeWire, an online streaming platform. It differs from PrimeWire.ag, a competitor known for its music streaming services. PrimeWire is one of the most complete platforms, giving customers a full-fledged, wholesome video streaming experience. PrimeWire was a modest endeavor ten years ago, but it has since experienced exponential development.
In just a few years, PrimeWire’s popularity exploded to the point where it could compete with major streaming services like Putlocker and 123Movies. Faster than any other movie streaming website, PrimeWire uses an advanced automated method to post the most recent episodes of all TV shows within a few seconds of their publication.
- A lot of books
- Easy to get around
- Multiple subscription plans Good algorithm for making suggestions
- Because of where they are,
- Movies and TV shows coming and going often
- It can be hard to find movies on your own that aren’t on the list.
- High price to start
Is Primewire against the law?
Like 123movies or Putlocker, most places don’t let you use PrimeWire. Many people think that streaming is legal because it is different from downloading. But both kinds of piracy are against the law. Even though streamed content disappears from your device after you watch it, if you don’t pay the creators, you are still breaking copyright laws.
Also, PrimeWire’s strategy is to act as a hub for content streamed from many different places on the (deep) web. The problem is that none of these are reliable sources. This means that if it is against the law in your country, you could be charged with breaking copyright laws. Read our article about the rules and fines for downloading to learn how countries try to stop illegal downloading.

How safe is Primewire, and how can I watch it without getting hurt?
The table above shows that some countries do not go after people who use free streaming services like Primewire. Some countries even let people do it for their use. This doesn’t mean that PrimeWire is safe in those countries, though. It just means that you probably won’t get fined for using it.
Your biggest worry might not even be that using PrimeWire could get you in trouble. Malware, like viruses, could get into your computer if you click on the wrong thing. This is a real risk. After all, PrimeWire doesn’t get its content from real sources. We suggest using good malware or virus protection software like BitDefender. It will keep you from getting more than you asked for when downloading something.
Also, if you want to use PrimeWire, you should use a VPN. A VPN hides your IP address and other information so outsiders can’t see it. As a VPN encrypts all of your internet traffic, your computer gets the IP address of the VPN server to which you are connected. You hide your tracks by making it look like you’re surfing the web from somewhere other than where you are. NordVPN is a VPN that is easy to use and that we recommend for casual users:
Unlimited Downloading & Streaming
The icing on the cake of online movie streaming companies is unlimited streaming and downloads. On PrimeWire, there is no shortage of content at all. You would be quite impressed with what the site offers if you were to estimate the strength of the material by looking at the homepage. Instead of providing you with hundreds of links, the developers have selected the top 3–4 working links.
Most of the links end up functioning flawlessly and without any problems. The website offers various movies to suit different audiences’ preferences. You can watch movies with subtitles in many different languages. Let’s give credit where credit is due and acknowledge that PrimeWire does indeed have amazing streaming capabilities.
Prime Wire may take a little while to get used to its appearance. Initially, at least. For example, the orientation of the home page seems to be backward. The box for members to sign up and log in is awkwardly located on the right side of the page (when it feels much more at home being left-justified). This is also where you can find quick links to the most recent comments, the most popular comments, the TV schedule, and some other tips on using the site to its fullest. I love that Prime Wire has a guide to help people new to streaming movies for free find their way around the site.
The way the movies are listed is another design flaw I have with Prime Wire. When you click on a title, information about that movie or show and links to the hosted files will appear at the top of the page. Be smart and don’t click on the first result, which is always an ad that takes you to another page that looks like it has the movie or show if you sign up, but it doesn’t.
Why do I not like this design? Well, mostly because it makes things harder than they need to be. I’ve seen free sites for streaming movies and TV do this much more streamlined and easy-to-use way. Some sites, for instance, only have one media player box, so you don’t have to scroll through a long list of links to get to each one. Others work like Google Images and give you a list of search results with thumbnails, which also feels more natural and less clunky.
Maybe you don’t mind how this list is set up as much as I do. I’d love to see Prime Wire get a major facelift.
There are a lot of movies and TV shows to choose from on Prime Wire. Just about any book you can think of will probably be here. But the quality of streaming is pretty hit or miss. In other words, many files don’t stream in HD, and some only go up to 240p, which isn’t as good as going to the movies.
How to get into PrimeWire
If you can use PrimeWire in your country, you should always ensure your device is safe from all threats before going to a PrimeWire mirror. If you live in a country where PrimeWire is legal, you can keep yourself safe by doing what other people do to make sure they have the safest PrimeWire experience possible:
- They start by using a good VPN service, like NordVPN, and good antivirus software, like Kaspersky;
- Step 2 is to access PrimeWire through a PrimeWire-mirror or by searching for “PrimeWire Mirror” on Google;
- If they’ve used Google to look for mirrors, they probably need to go to a different site with a list of mirrors. Google’s search results don’t always show mirrors.
And that’s how people get to PrimeWire now (in places where it’s legal).
Experience in Mobile and Desktop
There is no app for Prime Wire, which is a shame (if understandable). But their site for mobile devices seems to work fine. It has a lot of ads, but that’s how it is with sites like this, unfortunately.
I have some ideas for Prime Wire.
I’d like Prime Wire to change the look of their whole site. The site needs to be more fun to use, look better, and be easier to navigate. Guys, it’s 2020. Why are you making your websites look like it’s 2005? Also, links with higher quality would help, of course. No one wants to watch a movie streamed at 240p.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Is PrimeWire OK to watch?
Most countries don’t let people use services like PrimeWire. Malware like adware and viruses are often on PrimeWire and other sites like it. Most of the time, you can only get to these sites through mirrors. This means that you could be followed or have your information stolen.
Why doesn’t PrimeWire work?
The companies said that PrimeWire broke copyright by encouraging users to post links to illegal movies and TV shows and making it easy for people to find those movies and shows through a curated index.
Is it okay to use PrimeWire in the US?
People can get movies from Primewire, which is a website. It is against the law in the United States to download movies with copyright protection without a license.
Is PrimeWire illegal in India?
Since piracy is against the law in India, the Indian government has banned the website Primewire. However, the website is still online because it changes its domain name extension often and can also be accessed through proxy sites that lead users to the website.
Why doesn’t Primewire have any links?
No more. It’s finished. So that they wouldn’t be shut down completely, they agreed to only link to movies that were already free. This is why most of the links went away.
One of the many unrestricted streaming services that exist is PrimeWire. To use one of the many (paying and legal) alternatives, we suggest you. Utilizing a VPN and selecting a server in a nation with more affordable subscriptions can frequently help you save money.
